THE HICSS CALL 2024 is closed

The HICSS Board was impressed and excited by the seriousness with which all applications met the HICSS meta-criterion ('Does this research contribute to enabling climate resilience?'). All applications address highly relevant innovative topics and were written by proven experts.
The Executive Board has therefore decided to recommend all submitted applications as eligible for funding. The HICSS Commission followed this recommendation mid of December 2024 and has approved all proposals.

We are looking forward the start of the following projects in 2025:

- ClimateConnect and BeChange in the projects cluster ClimateBridge
- Map4risk and Test4Stress in the projects cluster Trans4Heat
- Climate Change Resilient German North Sea Inshore Fisheries
- Detecting global IRRIGation-Atmosphere interactions using satellite remote-SEnsing data (IRRIGASE)

Further information on the projects will follow as they start.
